Day 4 Knockout Round Predictions

NORWAY GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK, but in Haaland we trust. After a rain delay and a Mexico win we are onto day four. We have three games today. I’m assuming you know one of my picks, like I assume that you'll be going to the last Bethesda Soccer Club home game of the year on July 8th at 6:30 pm!
Onto today's games!
England vs DR Congo
First of all, credit to DR Congo. Not many people expected them to make the knockout rounds, but they earned their spot.
The problem is they now have to face England. England has looked like one of the strongest teams in the tournament (when they aren’t playing down to competition), with talent at every position and the ability to score in a variety of ways. DR Congo will make them work for it, but I don't think they'll be able to keep up for 90 minutes. So for now… IT’S COMING HOME!
England 3, DR Congo 0
Belgium vs Senegal
Belgium may have won its group, but it wasn't nearly as easy as many expected. They had a few shaky moments and never really looked like the dominant team people thought they would be.
On the other hand, Senegal, despite two losses made it out of a group with both France and Norway. They looked organized defensively, dangerous going forward, plus they look like they can actually score goals
I think Belgium's inconsistencies finally catch up to them. Senegal continues its run and pulls off a so called “upset”.
Senegal 1, Belgium 0
USA vs Bosnia- Herzegovina
USA! USA! USA!
Despite resting most of their starters in the last group stage match, the United States was still incredibly fun to watch. That depth is one of the biggest reasons I think this team can make a deep run.
Now, I won't lie—Bosnia and Herzegovina scares me. They didn't get to the knockout rounds by accident, and they've shown they can compete with quality teams. If the U.S. comes out flat, this could turn into a nervy 90 minutes.
But with the home crowd behind them and the starters back in the lineup, I'm backing the Americans to get the job done. What, did you think, I wasn't going to pick the United States? This is my home country! I gotta represent.
USA 2, Bosnia and Herzegovina 1
Yesterday's record: 3-0
Overall Record: 6-1
