Are the 76ers title contenders?
The 76ers are doing better than expected, but there are problems. With Ben Simmons still refusing to shoot jump shots this team has had to rely on Seth Curry and Danny "Brick" Green. The main question for this team is Joel Embid's health. When he's healthy the 76ers are a great team, when he's not then they have no center. So the answer to this question is NO. Why.. because of a question we will discuss next.
Are the Nets going to win the East?
The Nets will 100% overtake the Bucks, 76ers, Celtics, Heat and the rest of the mediocre teams to make the NBA Finals. Don't get too excited. The Nets haven't learned a thing from the past and have once again traded every pick and every young player for a star player, in this case James Harden. But to be fair, it is already a better trade than when Billy King traded every draft pick ever to the Celtics for Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. While this has the potential for future championships, it also has the potential to be the biggest locker room disaster ever seen. Anyway with the talent that they have the Nets will 100% make the Finals... Unless Kevin Durant gets hurt again, or Kyrie Irving leaves the team, or the Nets pull a Nets again some other way.
Is my dad a better coach than Scott Brooks?
Yes, but don't get too excited dad. Scott Brooks is a horrible coach so that is a low bar. The only reason he is still around must be because of the pandemic season, because otherwise this makes no sense. Bradley Beal will decide the fate of the coach, and since he wants to win the Wizards will make a change. Beal should ask to hire my Dad... My rec team would say that he is a better coach.
Short article this week for March Madness next week.
