The NFL IS BACK

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!?! We have a lot of revenge games for Week 1, and everyone's fantasy football team is still undefeated (although if you're facing any Bills players I don't like your chances). Here are some questions on my mind at the start of the season.

Which teams will come out of the AFC West?

The AFC West is now the best division in the NFL. The Raiders, Broncos and Chargers spent the entire offseason getting better while the Chiefs were getting a little worse. Juju Smith-Schuster is good, but he's no Tyreek Hill. I'm no general manager, but if I had a choice I'd pick the receiver better at football over the receiver better at TikTok. Still, the Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes II and Travis Kelce so they will be contenders by default. All four of these teams can make the playoffs both figuratively and literally. But which ones will?

Is Lamar Jackson making the right decision?

He's ending contract talks with the Ravens and betting on himself. But is it the right decision? Jackson is a great player who is especially good in the run game. The passing game, however, has been questionable, especially against good defenses and in the postseason. When he's at his best, he's an MVP. When he's not, Baltimore can lose to anyone. The Ravens don't have great running backs so Jackson will have every chance to put up numbers through the air.

Where was Tom Brady when he left Bucs camp this August?

This one is easy...he was on the Masked Singer! I'm kidding, of course, but that twitter rumor was funny. Actually,Brady was too busy going to his secret science laboratory taking his anti-aging medications. How else do you explain the fact that he looks like he hasn't aged since high school?

What dumb things will Dan Snyder and Stephen Ross do next?

One paid his coach to lose and tampered with Brady and Sean Payton. The other is responsible for a horrible culture, a stadium that leaks poop on fans, and has been accused of having two separate financial books to cheat the other owners from more money. Brian Flores, Kyle Shanahan, and Sean McVay can all attest to the fact that they are horrible people. Ross at least looks like he will be selling, but what about Snyder?

Will Baker be successful in Carolina?

After his treatment in Cleveland, I felt somewhat bad for Baker Mayfield. With the shoulder injury he had, he shouldn't have played at all. The people on the Browns must be the same people from the Robert Griffin III medical team in 2012. Mayfield is in the same position Sam Darnold was in last year. This could be his last chance to prove he is a quality starting QB. It also is ironically a similar team to what he had in Cleveland. The Panthers have a top-tier running back, star wide receiver ... and no one else on offense. He'll get an early chance for revenge. The Panthers play the Browns in Week 1.

Why are the Browns ownership even more embarrassing than Snyder and Ross?

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS TEAM!?!? They say they need an adult as their QB so they trade for the new Ben Roethlisberger? Deshaun Watson should have been suspended for at least a season. The Browns are so lucky that it's only 11 games. What else can I say about a team that is run by worse people than DAN SNYDER?

Will Dallas be signing offensive linemen off Wootton’s roster by the end of the season?

Since their entire O line is injured, Dallas may want to consider coming to Wootton High School to sign some people. If they went to Quince Orchard, Winston Churchill, or Walter Johnson it would look too obvious. Plus Trevon Diggs went to Wootton so Dallas could make it look like he is just visiting his old school.
